We're focusing on the sentiment this week at Sunday Stamps #314 - front and center! I got a chance to browse some different stamp sets recently at a stampin' retreat - so much fun! One that I jumped at was Good Feelings - I didn't get this one, but SO perfect for a big front and center sketch like ours! I chose this happy sentiment to fit a landscape orientation a bit better, and matched it with this sunny DSP from our old Dandy Designs pack - I still have a bit of this one left, and I can't let go of the cheery color combos! I finished with this pretty Petal Pink ribbon and some bold Calypso Coral Iridescent Pastel Gems! Yum! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our fun sketch this round - meet you at the challenge! Good Feelings Stamp Set; Dandy Designs DSP (retired); Basic White, Calypso Coral & Petal Pink CS; Calypso Coral Ink; Ribbon Duo Pak; Calypso Coral Iridescent Pastel Gems; #SSC314. Aw, this is a sweet one - The Flower Challenge #81 would like us to use our favorite flower! My favorite flower is the tulip, I think - they can come in so many colors! Hands down, the bright and flamboyant parrot tulip is my absolute fave, but I don't have any images of those, lol. So I settled on my favorite tulip stamp set still, 2018's Tranquil Tulips. I love the 3D quality this 2-step stamp set has, and I was thrilled to try it in our new Bubble Bath pink, too - lovely! I added all the trimmings of stems, leaves and a few muscari in Fresh Freesia - my grandma always grew these together! This lovely Numbers quote from Courage & Faith was the perfect sentiment to go with, and I finished with some Brass Butterflies. Love how fresh it all looks! Tranquil Tulips (retired 2018) & Courage & Faith Stamp Sets; Granny Apple Green DSP; Basic White & Bubble Bath CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Granny Apple Green, Bubble Bath & Fresh Freesia Inks; Ovals Collection Dies; Brass Butterflies; #TFC81. This looks like a fun one, lol, Festive Friday #134 is celebrating National Smile Day! I knew I had to use this smiley sentiment from my Sending Smiles set - love it! I did use the other flower, though. This one reminds me of lavender, but I made it yellow for the challenge, lol. It has to be done, and I think it's great! Anyway, I have yellow, black, smile sentiment, and enamel dots - that's plenty for National Smile Day! I went a little crazy with my stems, too! Sending Smiles Stamp Set; Basic White, Daffodil Delight & Basic Black CS; Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Sending Dies; Matte Black Dots; #FF0134. Pumpkin Club May 27! Excellent - Shopping Our Stash #494 has an "April Showers" challenge this round! I couldn't resist going back to our cute Playing in the Rain suite for this one - I can't believe how smitten I became with this set! I went with this playful umbrella background to get started, and then decided to fussy cut a cute "extra" critter from another DSP sheet. Isn't this soggy pup darling? I did all my coordinating in Balmy Blue, even opening up this ribbon roll for the first time, lol. This let me use some leftover embellies from the coordinating Paper Pumpkin kit we had, too! I am stashing this one for sure! I sure hope you like our fun party colors this round at Sunday Stamps #305! Today I started my Spring drive to make sure I hunt down sets that I haven't used enough, to give them some love. Welcoming Window is one I have been fascinated with, yet somehow never seem to pull out for stamping! Since I feel like I spy a little gray in our popping colors, I settled on this one so I could sneak in some bricks to take care of the gray, then spread the rest of my bright colors over all my pieces! I wish I had a little cabin with Orchid Oasis trim - so cute! I can't wait to see YOUR projects with our pretty colors - meet you there! Welcoming Window Stamp Set; Basic White & Gray Granite CS; Gray Granite, Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet & Tahitian Tide Inks; Basic Black Blend Marker; Window Flower Box & Stylish Shapes Dies; Parakeet Party Matte Dots; #SSC305. Time for another challenge at NBUS #48! I have just the thing! Right at the end of our Holiday Catty, the mother ship let us know that Regal Reindeer and its dies would be carrying over, but NOT as a bundle, so I quick snagged it while I could still get the discounted price. I didn't do this set at all for last year's holiday classes, so I have a feeling we'll see at this year's Christmas in July, lol. Anyway, what a great set to break in here! I had some fun setting up a little snowy scene - these reindeer really ARE regal! Regal Reindeer Stamp Set; Basic White & Evening Evergreen CS; Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Crumb Cake, Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight & Petal Pink Blends Markers; Blender Pen; Reindeer & Stitched Shapes (retired) Dies; Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes (retired); NBUS48. OK, we're going straight for the big one - Cardz 4 Guyz #315 wants a Valentine for a guy! So, I'm all done with pink and red for this year, lol. So let's try carrots instead! I so love our Sale-a-Bration set, Thanks a Bunch, so much! We just don't have anything else like it, and it's so FUN! I decided it was perfect for a bit of vegetable love, lol. I built three grand carrots with Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie, and gave them some Granny Apple Green leaves. A Granny Apple love banner was perfect across the bottom, and I finished with a few of the lighter Old Olive Matte Decorative Dots - just right! This so makes me giggle! Thanks a Bunch Stamp Set; Pumpkin Pie DSP; Basic White & Granny Apple Green CS; Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie & Granny Apple Green Inks; Deckled Rectangles Dies; Old Olive Matte Decorative Dots; #C4G315. Here's a lovely challenge to close out the year - The Sisterhood of Crafters would like to see something in traditional Christmas colors - red and green! Another set I'm super sad to see retire is the gorgeous and versatile Spruced Up bundle. I can't believe how many times I pulled this one out! Love the trees, lol. Anyway, I decided to use an ornament that I haven't even inked up yet this time, and I did one each in Real Red and Old Olive. I added the star accents when I spotted it in the dies, lol. Such a pretty book cover at this month's Once Upon a Time #4! I actually don't know this book, but what a gorgeous cover! I tried to design a card inspired by the lovely colors and design elements, and, of course, an apt "dream" sentiment! I had just the thing in the Begin With a Dream set, over a few details I thought I could come close to. I actually really like the result - I don't do much in this style, so I felt pretty unsure of where I was headed, lol. Whew!
